Effective date: 19 September 2026 • Last updated: 19 September 2026
The short version
- We sell digital, printable learning books (PDF files). Nothing is posted to you.
- When you buy, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to print and use the books with your own children or students. You may not resell, share or upload them.
- Delivery is instant by email. Because digital files can’t be returned, refunds are limited. See our Refund Policy for exactly when we refund.
- You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to buy from us.
- Our books support early learning at home. They are not a substitute for professional educational advice and children should be supervised while using them.
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) form a legal agreement between you and First Step Learning Hub (“we”, “us” or “our”). They apply whenever you visit firststeplearninghub.com, create an account, download a free sample, subscribe to our newsletter or buy any of our printable books or bundles (together, the “Site” and “Products”). Please read them carefully together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are part of these Terms.
1 Acceptance of these terms
By accessing the Site, placing an order or downloading anything from us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or buy our Products. If you are using the Site on behalf of a school, nursery or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
2 About us & eligibility
First Step Learning Hub is an online store that sells printable learning books for children aged 2–6 (Pre-Nursery, Nursery, KG1 and KG2) covering subjects such as English, Maths and Drawing. We operate worldwide and have no physical shop.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to form a binding contract to place an order or create an account. The Site is intended for parents, guardians and teachers, not for children to use on their own. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
3 Accounts
- You can buy from us without creating an account. If you do create one, you must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and any download links confidential, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account or links.
- You may not create an account using false details, or create multiple accounts to abuse offers, free samples or our refund process.
4 Our products & digital delivery
4.1 What you are buying
All Products are digital files (such as PDF workbooks and activity pages) intended to be printed at home or at school. No physical item is shipped. We describe each Product as accurately as we can, including its subject, age group and page count, but colours on screen and in print can vary with your device, printer and paper.
4.2 How delivery works
- After your payment is confirmed, we email a download link and receipt to the address you entered at checkout. Delivery is normally instant, but can occasionally take a few minutes.
- Please enter your email address carefully and check your spam or promotions folder. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by a mistyped address or an email filter, but we will gladly resend your link.
- You can re-download your files at any time using the same link, subject to reasonable use. If a link stops working or is lost, contact us and we will reissue it.
- You are responsible for having a device, software (for example a PDF reader) and printer that can open and print the files. Ink, paper and printing costs are yours.
4.3 Bundles and updates
A bundle is a discounted set of books sold together. We may correct errors, improve or update a file, or change the contents of a bundle for future customers. Where we release a corrected version of a book you already bought, we will normally make it available through your download link at no extra cost, but we are not obliged to provide future editions or additional books.
5 Prices, currency & taxes
- Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR), US Dollars (USD) or UAE Dirhams (AED) using the currency selector. The price you pay is the price and currency confirmed at checkout.
- Prices in different currencies are set by us and are not a live exchange rate. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own currency-conversion charges or fees, which we do not control.
- Prices may include or exclude taxes such as GST or VAT depending on where you are and the law that applies. Any tax that applies is shown before you pay.
- We may change prices, run offers or withdraw Products at any time. Changes do not affect orders already confirmed. If we notice an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
6 Orders & payment
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm your payment and send your download link. We may decline or cancel an order, for example where we suspect fraud, a payment fails, a Product is listed at the wrong price or is unavailable, or we believe these Terms are being breached. If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund it.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers on secure pages. We do not see or store your full card, UPI or net-banking details. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you choose. Please contact us before starting a chargeback or payment dispute so we can try to fix the problem quickly.
7 Your licence to use our books
When you buy a Product and once payment is complete, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to download, store and print it for the purposes below. You do not become the owner of the Product or its copyright.
| You may… | You may not… |
|---|---|
| Print as many copies as you need for your own children (including siblings) at home. | Sell, resell, rent, lend, trade or give away the files or printouts. |
| Print copies for the students in your own classroom or tutoring group, if you are the single teacher or tutor who bought it. | Share the files or your download link with other families, teachers or schools, or use one purchase for a whole school or organisation. |
| Keep a backup copy of the files for your own use. | Upload or post the files anywhere online, including social media, file-sharing sites, cloud drives with public links, messaging groups, or marketplaces such as Etsy or Teachers Pay Teachers. |
| Use printed pages in a laminated or reusable sleeve for your own children. | Edit, remove our branding, re-brand, translate or create products from the content, or use it in anything you sell or that is commercial. |
Schools, nurseries, tutoring centres, publishers or organisations that want to use our books across several teachers or sites, or in any commercial way, can ask us about a separate licence through our contact page.
8 What you must not do
When using the Site or our Products you agree not to:
- break the licence in section 7, or help anyone else to;
- use the Site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or with a stolen or unauthorised payment method;
- copy, scrape, crawl or harvest the Site or its content with automated tools, except as normal search engines do;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our accounts, servers or other users’ data, or disrupt or overload it (including by uploading viruses or malicious code);
- bypass or remove any security, access-limit or download-limit measure, or misuse download links;
- send us abusive, threatening or misleading messages, or impersonate any person or organisation; or
- abuse offers, free samples or our refund process, for example by claiming refunds on files you have kept and used.
9 Intellectual property
The Site and everything on it, including our books, worksheets, illustrations, characters, layouts, text, logos, the name “First Step Learning Hub”, images, graphics and code, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws in India and around the world. Except for the limited licence in section 7, nothing in these Terms transfers any right to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
If you believe something on the Site infringes your copyright, email us at support@firststeplearninghub.com with the details and we will look into it promptly. If you send us feedback or ideas, you agree we may use them without any obligation to you.
10 Free sample
Our free sample lets you try a few learning pages before you buy. It is provided free of charge, for personal, non-commercial use only, and the restrictions in sections 7 to 9 apply to it too. We may limit the number of samples per person or change or withdraw the offer at any time. Because it is free, it cannot be refunded.
11 Refunds
Because our Products are digital files that are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, refunds are limited to the situations set out in our Refund Policy. That policy forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms or in the Refund Policy limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer law that cannot be excluded.
12 Educational content & child safety
- Our books are designed to support early learning at home and in the classroom. Every child develops at their own pace, so we do not promise particular learning outcomes, school-readiness or test results. Age ranges are guidelines only.
- Our Products are general educational resources, not professional educational, psychological, medical or developmental advice. If you have concerns about a child’s development, please speak to a qualified professional.
- Please supervise children while they use printed pages and any materials that go with them (such as crayons, pencils, scissors, glue or small items). Keep small parts away from very young children. You are responsible for your child’s safety at all times.
13 Emails & communications
By placing an order you agree that we may send you service emails about it, such as your receipt, download link and support replies. We will send marketing emails only if you subscribe or otherwise agree, and you can unsubscribe at any time, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Messages you send through our contact form or by email must be truthful and lawful.
14 Third-party links & services
The Site may link to or rely on third-party websites and services, such as payment providers, Google sign-in and our social media pages. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
15 Disclaimer of warranties
We take care to keep the Site and our Products accurate, error-free and available. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and Products are provided “as is” and “as available”, and we do not make any promise or warranty that:
- the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of errors, viruses or other harmful components;
- files will be compatible with every device, software or printer, or that printed results will match what appears on screen; or
- the content will be free of every typographical or educational error, or will meet your particular needs.
This section does not exclude any warranty or right that the law says cannot be excluded.
16 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or our Products;
- we are not liable for loss or damage caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as internet or power failures, payment-provider outages, cyber-attacks, natural disasters or government action; and
- our total liability to you for any claim connected with the Site or a Product is limited to the amount you paid us for that Product in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
17 Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for, and to defend us against, losses, claims and reasonable costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site or Products, or your infringement of another person’s rights, such as sharing our files without permission. This does not apply where the law does not allow it, for example to consumers in some countries.
18 Suspension & termination
We may suspend or end your access to the Site, your account, your download links or your licence, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, misused our files or acted fraudulently. If we do so because of your breach, you will not be entitled to a refund. You may stop using the Site and delete your account at any time by contacting us. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law, will survive termination.
19 Governing law & disputes
These Terms and any dispute connected with the Site or our Products are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@firststeplearninghub.com. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. If we cannot, the courts of India will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right you have to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence under consumer-protection laws that apply to you.
20 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when we add products or features or the law changes. The new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If the changes are significant, we will also notify you by email or with a notice on the Site. Changes apply from the date they are posted, and to orders placed after that date. If you keep using the Site after that, you accept the updated Terms.
21 General
- Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Site and replace any earlier understanding.
- Severability: if any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver: if we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example if we sell or restructure our business.
- Language: these Terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version prevails.
- No third-party rights: no one other than you and us may enforce these Terms.
